This is great, Jim! I’m a newbie home barista and I’d watched a million videos to help me. This post included tips I hadn’t seen elsewhere that I’ll start tomorrow. I have the Breville Barista Express. I turn that bad boy on first thing in the morning insert everything into place for heating. Including putting the cups on top of the machine. But I’m going to start adding the warm water because the cups don’t heat very well on top. Thanks for sharing!!
